Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior BI Engineer to design, develop, and manage our enterprise Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SSRS, SSIS, and Tableau, with a proven ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Tableau and SSRS
- Build and manage ETL processes and data pipelines using SSIS
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable BI solutions
- Optimize data models, queries, and reporting performance
- Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and security
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts
- Work with large datasets across multiple systems and platforms
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members
- Support analytics, forecasting, and KPI reporting initiatives
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- Tableau (Desktop/Server)
- Strong SQL scripting and performance tuning skills
- Experience designing complex ETL workflows and data transformations
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Dimensional Modeling)
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, etc.)
- Knowledge of Python / R / Power BI
- Experience with CI/CD for BI deployments
- Exposure to Big Data ecosystems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Hybrid work model, employees are required to work from the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- Working Hours: India shift ends at either 11:30 PM IST / 2:00 AM EST or 12:30 AM IST / 3:00 AM EST.
- Work Location: Hyderabad / Chennai / Pune
