Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior BI Engineer to design, develop, and manage our enterprise Business Intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SSRS, SSIS, and Tableau, with a proven ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Tableau and SSRS
  • Build and manage ETL processes and data pipelines using SSIS
  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable BI solutions
  • Optimize data models, queries, and reporting performance
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and security
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts
  • Work with large datasets across multiple systems and platforms
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members
  • Support analytics, forecasting, and KPI reporting initiatives

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in: 
  •        SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
  •        SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
  •        Tableau (Desktop/Server)
  • Strong SQL scripting and performance tuning skills
  • Experience designing complex ETL workflows and data transformations
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Dimensional Modeling)
  • Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Python / R / Power BI
  • Experience with CI/CD for BI deployments
  • Exposure to Big Data ecosystems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Hybrid work model, employees are required to work from the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • Working Hours:  India shift ends at either 11:30 PM IST / 2:00 AM EST or 12:30 AM IST / 3:00 AM EST.
  • Work Location: Hyderabad / Chennai / Pune
