Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Talent Management Lead to be based on-site at our client location in Chesapeake, Virginia, serving as the primary liaison between HR Shared Services, Talent & Culture COE, and US leadership teams.
This role requires strong expertise in Talent Development, recruitment operations, governance, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to lead on-site discussions, manage expectations, and ensure smooth coordination across multiple functions. You will be responsible for managing critical talent processes—including candidate sourcing, screening, background verification, onboarding coordination, and documentation—while ensuring full compliance with policy, audit, and data standards. The role also involves coaching junior resources and driving continuous improvements across the Talent Management workflow.
This is a work-from-office, high-visibility leadership role that acts as the operational anchor for the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and support recruitment planning.
Ensure job requisitions are accurately created, approved, and tracked within Workday or the ATS system.
Collaborate with recruitment teams to track hiring progress, candidate pipelines, and hiring metrics.
Ensure compliance with hiring policies, documentation standards, and recruitment governance requirements.
Learning & Development (L&D)
Support coordination of employee training and development programs aligned with business and leadership goals.
Identify skill gaps in collaboration with HR and business stakeholders and recommend relevant learning initiatives.
Track training participation, completion rates, and program effectiveness through LMS or internal systems.
Support onboarding training programs and continuous learning initiatives to strengthen employee capability and performance.
Performance Management System (PMS)
Support the execution of the performance management cycle including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual performance evaluations.
Partner with managers and HR teams to ensure employee objectives align with organizational goals and performance expectations.
Monitor performance review timelines and ensure completion of evaluations within defined schedules.
Maintain performance documentation and support managers with guidance on feedback discussions and performance improvement processes.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work onsite at our client location in Chesapeake, Virginia,
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Management, and Learning & Development roles, or HR Operations, with demonstrated leadership in US HR program delivery.
- Strong working knowledge of Workday Talent and other HRERPs (Workday strongly preferred).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive HR data with integrity.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field (Master’s preferred) .
