Job Description:

Role Overview

The SFMC Implementation Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end setup, configuration, and integration of Marketing Cloud with your existing Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud instance. This includes technical architecture, data modeling, and the creation of automated multi-channel customer journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Setup & Configuration: Perform initial account configuration, including Business Unit setup, user roles/permissions, and sender profile configuration.
  • Marketing Cloud Connect: Install and configure the connector between SFMC and Salesforce CRM to ensure seamless data synchronization.
  • Data Modeling & Architecture: Design Data Extensions, define Contact Keys (Subscriber Keys), and build a clean, consistent data model.
  • Automation & Journey Building: Use Journey Builder to design automated customer lifecycles and Automation Studio for complex data activities and triggered sends.
  • Content & Personalization: Develop responsive email templates and utilize AMPscript for dynamic, personalized content at scale.
  • Integrations & Technical Development: Utilize SQL for data manipulation and write scripts (AMPscript, SSJS) to extend platform functionality.
  • Training & Testing: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and conduct hands-on training sessions to ensure your internal marketing team can manage campaigns post-launch.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Certifications:
    • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant (Highly Recommended).
    • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SFMC implementations, specifically involving CRM integrations.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced SQL and AMPscript.
    • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email design.
    • Working knowledge of Marketing Cloud Connect.
  • Offshore Specifics: Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple time zones, and provide clear documentation in English.
