Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with a strong technical background and hands-on experience in full life cycle implementations of both SAP ECC and S/4HANA Public Cloud. The ideal candidate must possess deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP MM modules, with the ability to work independently and directly with clients, demonstrating excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Job Description - Duties and Responsibilities:
SAP MM Senior Consultant
- Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP MM implementations, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
- Deliver S/4HANA Public Cloud projects with a strong understanding of Fit-to-Standard methodology.
- Configure SAP MM modules including procurement processes, inventory management, invoice verification, vendor management, and integration with other SAP modules (SD, FI, WM, etc.).
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and design SAP solutions aligned with best practices in public cloud deployments.
- Liaise directly with business users and stakeholders to analyze needs and provide expert guidance on SAP capabilities and enhancements.
- Collaborate with technical teams for developments (RICEFW), ensuring proper documentation and testing.
- Support data migration activities and interface design between SAP and external systems.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to key users and project team members.
- Stay updated on SAP innovations in MM and S/4HANA Public Cloud offerings.
Qualifications:
Qualifications & Skills:
- 12+ years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant with full cycle implementation exposure.
- At least 2 full life cycle implementations in S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP MM configuration, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Logistics Invoice Verification.
- Proven experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations or greenfield implementations.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Fit-to-Standard approach.
- Solid understanding of integration with other SAP modules (FI, SD, PP, etc.).
- Ability to engage with business users and clearly communicate functional concepts and system capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- Experience with SAP Fiori apps and S/4HANA Public Cloud best practices is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP S/4HANA certification in MM or Procurement.
- Experience working in Agile/Hybrid environments.
- Exposure to SAP BTP extensions or side-by-side integrations is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
