Job Description:

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Partner with operational and functional leaders to design and deliver people strategies aligned with business goals, profitability and client KPI performance.
  • Act as adviser to leadership, translating operational challenges into practical HR solutions; aligning global objectives with local execution.

Employee Engagement and Culture

  • Lead engagement, satisfaction and retention initiatives that build a positive, high-performance culture.
  • Champion the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to position the company as an employer of choice in a competitive market.

Performance Optimization and Talent Development

  • Lead or partner on root-cause analysis and work with leadership to implement sustainable, scalable solutions.
  • Diagnose development needs and oversee targeted programmes that strengthen frontline leadership, performance management and conflict-resolution capability.

Employee Relations and Due Process

  • Oversee complex employee relations matters, ensuring strict compliance with Jamaican labour law and company policy.
  • Manage the disciplinary process end to end, guiding managers through objective investigations and hearings while mitigating legal and industrial relations risk.

People Analytics and Retention

  • Analyze workforce data, including attrition and absenteeism, alongside employee feedback to design evidence-based retention interventions.
  • Translate quantitative and qualitative insight into actions, interventions or programs that achieve measurable business outcomes.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure consistent execution of core HR processes, policy governance and compliance across operational accounts.
  • Lead change management through operational transitions, seasonal hiring and account ramps, sustaining morale and productivity.

Drive continuous improvement and digitization of HR workflows to reduce administrative effort and enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably BS/BA in Psychology, HR Management, Organizational Development or General Sciences.
  • Must be in a Sr. HR leadership role present/prior, with experience managing of a team of HR professionals
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • Minimum 3-4 years in the BPO industry
  • General knowledge of labor standards, statutory benefits, employee engagement practices and other key HR processes
  • Above average written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent ability to build networks within and across functions through proactive communication
  • Capable in maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism is critical
  • Strong work ethics, integrity, flexibility, diversity, customer service orientation, leadership/coaching skills and team building abilities are essential
  • Willing to work in a shifting schedule.
