Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Manager for Facility, Facilities & Property Management to join our team in Bogota, Colombia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our facility operations, ensuring a safe, functional, and cost-effective environment for our employees and visitors.
- Develop and implement comprehensive facility management strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee daily operations of facilities, including maintenance, security, and cleaning services
- Manage and optimize facility-related budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects and maintenance tasks
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols in compliance with local regulations
- Lead and mentor a team of facility management professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Conduct regular facility inspections and risk assessments to identify and address potential issues proactively
- Develop and execute sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve energy efficiency
- Manage lease agreements and relationships with property owners or tenants
- Ensure all building systems are properly maintained and updated as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in facility or property management, with a proven track record of success
- Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or other IFMA credentials preferred
- Proficiency in facility management software and project management tools
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and real estate management
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and sustainability best practices
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and cost optimization
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and sustainability initiatives
