Job Description:

Sutherland is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented person to join us as an onsite  Inventory Logistics Specialist  at our Jefferson Rd location in Rochester, NY. The   Inventory Logistics Associate is responsible for preparing and deploying equipment.  This role has a hand in data tracking, equipment assignments, ticket creation/resolution, updating documents, label creation, packing, shipping, recovering, and testing of assets. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Shipping: accurately record data for shipments from start to finish, ensuring proper packing techniques and shipping practices
  •   Queue Management: Monitor and respond in a timely manner to technology issues assigned to your queue.
  • Receiving: tagging, recording, and storing of new assets.  Receiving, data recording, and testing of returned assets.
  • Data Maintenance:  Properly record and maintain data on shipments and receipts
  • Reporting:  Provide accurate data and insight to management
  • Inventory:  Overview of inventory, ensuring data is accurate and properly recorded

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work onsite at our Jefferson Rd. location in Rochester, NY and work an 9AM-5:30PM Shift, Monday-Friday
  • Ability to dead lift 35-50lbs, possibly multiple times a day
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Highly organized, motivated, and detail oriented.
  • Previous shipping or warehouse experience a plus, but not required.
