Sutherland is seeking a strong strategic leader to join us as an on-site HR Manager for our Tulsa location.  If you are looking to build a fulfilling career and are confident you have the HR leadership skills and experience to help us succeed, come join our team of energetic and driven individuals.

In this role, you will play a key role in shaping the workplace culture while taking the lead in establishing and executing HR strategies that address performance and employee retention and engagement.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Promoting an open-door policy and remaining available to the team and encouraging a collaborative environment
  • Strengthening relationships: create sustainable solutions to individual employee challenges
  • Partnering with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations 
  • Managing/tracking all employee disciplinary action
  • Coaching, counseling and guiding managers related to employee disciplinary actions
  • Handling other duties as needed

Qualifications:

Our most successful candidates will have: 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in the HR field or any similar combination of education and experience. 
  • BPO industry experience is a major plus
  • End-to-end knowledge of critical human resource functions - business management & strategy, workforce planning & employment, benefits, employee relations & risk management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner
  • Proactive in developing trust and professional rapport with employees and HR team members
