Job Description:
Sutherland is looking for a Microsoft Training Professional to support one of our growing programs. If you have exceptional user training delivery skills along with the strong Microsoft knowledge as noted below, we want to hear from you!
The Microsoft Training Professional will be responsible for the following:
- Training delivery: Conduct live, instructor-led virtual training sessions, ensuring high engagement and knowledge retention among employees. Expected to demonstrate deep subject matter expertise and strong interpersonal skills.
- Office hours: Hold space for learners to get one-on-one assistance and answers to questions not addressed during class. Expected to be the SME who can derive answers to most questions without additional follow-up.
- Content development: Create and customize employee training content (subject is primarily Microsoft applications). Update materials as necessary, ensuring ongoing relevance and effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify training requirements, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Performance measurement: Evaluate and report the effectiveness of training through surveys, assessments, and feedback. Make necessary adjustments to improve future sessions. Ability to achieve CSAT of 4.25+ out of 5.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Expertise in Microsoft business applications: In-depth knowledge of SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Power BI, and Planner.
- Virtual training delivery: Experience in conducting live, instructor-led virtual training sessions. Confidence delivering live demos and answering most questions immediately.
- Instructional design: Skilled in design of engaging, interactive, and sound andragogical training programs. Experience scripting short educational videos is a plus.
- Communication and presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the proven ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
Desirable attributes:
- Disposition: Extraverted, driven, resourceful, and seeks opportunities for modernized training approaches.
- Technical support and troubleshooting: Capable of providing technical support and issue resolution during training sessions and office hours.
Desirable Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Office Specialist: Expert
- Microsoft Office Specialist: Master
