Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate-Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. As an integral part of our quality assurance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our software products.

  • Execute test cases and report bugs using industry-standard tools and methodologies
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans
  • Design and implement manual and automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency
  • Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-release support
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to the development team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of testing procedures and results
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies
  • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in software testing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
  • Proficiency in test case design, execution, and bug reporting
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium and JUnit
  • Basic programming skills in languages like Java or Python
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • ISTQB certification is a plus
