We are seeking candidates with relevant US mortgage underwriting experience to join us.

Job Description:
- Meet training requirements (New hire, refresher, update, and remedial training)
- Review the mortgage documents and complete the process steps defined by the client.
- Follow investor guidelines and client overlays.
- Perform the basic calculations with regard to mortgage processing.
- Update the information in LOS.
- Inform the client when additional documents are required.
- Meet the Document Review timelines (Goals) / reduce the time taken for even better results.
- Adhere to Schedule and other operational requirements.
- Seek assistance from support staff as required and follow two to say "No" policy for seamless review results.
- Active participation in performance improvement initiatives (individual level & program level).
- Maintain the quality standards and undergo necessary coaching sessions for improving review.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- 6 months - 3 years prior US Mortgage Underwriting experience preferred.
- Excellent oratory skills to communicate with US clients
- Good English written communication skills
- Client LOS such as the following but not limited to - Encompass, Scuba, Blacknight, AWS, etc.
- Knowledge about 4C’s (Credit, Capital, Capacity and Collateral)
- Graduates (with degree certificates)
- Comfortable to Work from Office
- Comfortable with US Rotational Night Shifts
- Immediate Joiner
- Knowledge about DSCR and Bank Statement income files is an added advantage
- Hands-on experience with Credit analysis, Income Verification and Calculation.
- Knowledge about Fannie Mae (FNMA) and Freddie Mac (FHLMC) Guidelines
- Knowledge about Conventional / FHA / VA loans
- DTI/LTV Ratio Calculations to assess risk
