Job Description:
Calculating employee salaries wages overtime bonuses and other compensation components as well as mandatory deductions like taxes and contribution to Social Security
Maintaining records ensure accurate and up-to-date records of employee information payroll data and financial transactions
Generating various payroll reports for management including those related to payroll expenditure tax obligations and employee benefits
Data analysis analyzing payroll data to identify trends errors or areas for improvement in payroll process
Compliance adhering to Philippines labor laws tax regulations and company policies related to payroll issue resolutions addressing and resolving any payroll related discrepancies or concerns raised by employee
System management potentially utilizing and maintaining payroll software and systems
Strong understanding of reference labour laws, tax regulations and payroll procedures is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite especially excel and experience with payroll software is expected
Calculating 13th Month Pay
Staff and handling full and final FNF settlements for departing employees this includes accurate and timely salary calculations deductions tax withholdings and disbursement of final pay.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources.
Five plus years of experience in payroll processing
knowledge of global payroll process labor laws taxations and statutory compliance
Proficiency in payroll and time keeping systems such as ADP SAP etcetera
English fluency in verbal and written communications
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve payroll discrepancies
statutory deductions payroll specialists need to be knowledgeable about various mandated deductions like SSS PhilHealth and Pagibig
