Job Description:
A Python automation test engineer designs, develops, and executes automated test scripts using Python to ensure software quality. Key responsibilities include creating test plans, writing test cases, collaborating with development and QA teams, reporting and tracking defects, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. The role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and experience with automation frameworks like Selenium or PyTest.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Python.
- Execute automated tests and analyze the results.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements.
- Report and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks.
- Create and maintain test documentation and reports.
- Ability to support existing manual testing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in automation testing using Python.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
