Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Lead with 12+ years of experience in managing enterprise web applications, middleware infrastructure, cloud environments, and production support operations. The ideal candidate will lead technical teams responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability of business-critical applications while driving automation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead and mentor Application Support, Middleware, and Infrastructure teams.
- Manage day-to-day production support activities across enterprise applications.
- Ensure 24×7 availability of business-critical applications and services.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.
Application & Infrastructure Management
- Manage WebLogic, WebSphere, Apache, JBoss, Tomcat, IIS, and related middleware platforms.
- Administer Linux, Solaris, Windows, and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Oversee deployment, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of enterprise applications.
- Manage application releases, deployments, and environment readiness.
Production Support
- Provide L3 technical support for critical production incidents.
- Act as Major Incident Manager during high-severity outages.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.
- Ensure SLA compliance and timely issue resolution.
Cloud & Automation
- Support AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-hosted applications.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation wherever applicable.
- Develop self-healing solutions and operational automation using DevOps tools.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related technologies.

Monitoring & Performance
- Monitor application health using tools such as:
- New Relic
- ELK Stack
- Oracle Enterprise Manager
- SQL Developer
- Perform capacity planning and performance optimization.
- Proactively identify infrastructure bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.

Security & Compliance
- Manage SSL certificates, LDAP integration, and authentication mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
- Support vulnerability remediation and infrastructure hardening.

Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Development, QA, Product, Database, Network, Security, and Business teams.
- Provide regular operational reports and executive updates.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during major incidents and planned maintenance activities.
