Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS HCM Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Payroll and Benefits modules. The role involves working directly with business users and technical teams to gather requirements, configure and customize Oracle EBS, develop technical components, and support end-to-end payroll and benefits processes.
The ideal candidate will have both functional knowledge and technical development experience, including working with RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows), Fast Formulas, and PL/SQL.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities:

Analyze and gather business requirements related to Oracle Payroll and Benefits.

Configure Oracle EBS Payroll elements, balances, Fast Formulas, and Benefit plans.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and handle year-end processing activities.
-
Support payroll processing including retro pay, costing, and reconciliations.

Assist in testing (unit, system, UAT) and provide end-user documentation and support.
Technical Responsibilities:

Design and develop RICEW components related to Payroll and Benefits.

Write and debug PL/SQL packages, procedures, and reports.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data interfaces and payroll calculations.

Work closely with DBA and infrastructure teams to ensure performance and integration stability.

Support Oracle standard APIs, data conversions, and customizations as needed.
Cross-Functional:
-
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure smooth operations and data accuracy.

Participate in implementation, upgrades, rollouts, or enhancement projects.

Perform root cause analysis of issues and propose long-term solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Oracle EBS HCM with strong focus on Payroll and Benefits modules (preferably R12.2.x).

Hands-on experience with Oracle Payroll setups, Fast Formulas, Payroll APIs, and Benefits configuration.

Strong technical expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, and RICEW development.

Knowledge of interfaces with third-party systems, inbound/outbound payroll data flows.

Good understanding of functional and technical integration between HRMS, Payroll, and Benefits.

Experience working in onsite-offshore models and handling client communications.

Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
