Job Description:
Sutherland is looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Analyst/Specialist to support one of our growing retail programs within the client site in Chesapeake, VA. Reporting, insights, and optimization.
As an AP Analyst/Specialist you'll get to:
- Analyze AP trends (aging, early-pay discounts, late fees)
- Create dashboards and monitor KPIs
- Identify process bottlenecks & optimize the same
- Support audits with data
- Produce reports, data insights
Example Metrics:
- AP aging dashboard
- Days Payable Outstanding (DPO)
- Early payment discount utilization
- Vendor performance metrics/KPIs
- Approval cycle times
- SLA adherence (invoice-to-pay times)
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience in an AP Analyst or AP Supervisor role
- Lawson ERP knowledge/experience will be a major plus
- Customer-oriented attitude in handling first level of communications and issues
- Capacity to efficiently manage time and keep track of multiple schedules
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
