Job Description:

Sutherland is seeking an experienced Team Manager to join one of our growing Travel programs based onsite in Cairo. We're looking for a leader with a passion for travel along with strong sales leadership experience! 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a team of full-cycle consultative luxury sales consultants 
  • Coach, mentor & develop your team to meet & exceed sales/revenue targets.
  • Set the path to success by managing performance and service quality to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Establish and maintain communication with clients and/or team members; understand their needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations
  • Produce solid and effective strategies based on accurate and meaningful data reports and analysis and/or keen observations that would impact the bottom line
  • Identify the training needs that will equip the staff with fundamental skills and knowledge
  • Have a thorough understanding of the various system tools and operational procedures utilized within the program
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on a regular basis for changes on promotions and updates
  • Conduct all defined and required process compliance and adherence to all team members, partners and third-party providers 

 

 

    Qualifications:

    What You’ll Need:

    • 2+ years of consultative sales leadership experience in travel, ideally with luxury / high-ticket clients (e.g., travel agency, tour operator, hotel, cruise, or airline companies)
    • GDS experience will be a plus (Sabre/Amadeus)

    • Ability to coach, mentor and develop a team in order to successfully close complex sales and exceed revenue targets (to include up-selling)
    • Deep passion for travel and strong destination knowledge with a desire to help others explore the world
    • Polished, articulate communicator with emotional intelligence and active listening skills
    • Strong organization and high attention to detail to manage multiple journeys simultaneously
    • Self-motivated and performance-driven leadership experience 
    • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative environment
