Job Description:

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize SQL pipelines, data models, and transformations within Snowflake.
  • Build Python-based data processing and automation workflows.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies and deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.
  • Implement CI/CD workflows and maintain version-controlled code repositories.
  • Build and manage orchestration pipelines using Airflow, Dagster, or similar tools.
  • Support data governance, quality checks, and secure data practices.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline issues and proactively improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

Required Skills

  • Strong SQL expertise (5+ years), preferably with Snowflake, but other Database Management systems are acceptable.
  • Data modelling experience.
  • Proficient Python programming skills for pipeline and automation tasks.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and delivering iterative outcomes.
  • Understanding of cloud data warehouses, especially Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Exposure to workflow orchestration frameworks like Airflow or Dagster.
