Job Description:
• Manage and troubleshoot complex issues across Windows Server environments including clustering, patching, and performance tuning.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs across multi-domain enterprise setups.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for IIS and .NET-based web applications, including SSL, authentication, and performance optimization.
• Develop and enhance PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and infrastructure health monitoring.
• Support cloud-hosted Windows workloads on AWS
• Lead major incident resolution, perform root cause analysis, and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Security and Compliance teams for patch management, vulnerability remediation, and audit support.
• Manage and optimize Citrix or RDS environments supporting application delivery.
• Contribute to infrastructure modernization—migrations, upgrades, and cloud integration projects.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and capacity management solutions (SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar).
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles, SOPs, and architecture documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide escalation support during complex production issues.
Qualifications:
• Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator / Azure Administrator
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect – Associate
- ITIL v4 Foundation
• Experience with automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and Azure AD.
• Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD environments for Windows-based application delivery.
• Experience in enterprise migration projects (domain consolidation, hybrid AD, OS upgrades).
Additional Information:
• Windows Server Administration: AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Failover Clustering, and Windows Update Management.
• Active Directory & GPO: Deep understanding of replication, trusts, and security policies.
• IIS/Web Hosting: Application pool management, SSL/TLS, Kerberos, authentication troubleshooting.
• Scripting & Automation: Advanced PowerShell for deployment, patching, and auditing.
• Cloud Integration: Experience with AWS (EC2, CloudWatch, Systems Manager) or Azure (VMs, Monitor, AD Connect).
• Virtualization: VMware or Hyper-V administration and performance optimization.
• Backup/Recovery: Familiar with Veeam, Commvault, or similar backup tools.
• Monitoring & Performance: Knowledge of SolarWinds, SCOM, or equivalent enterprise monitoring systems.
• Security & Compliance: Experience implementing hardening baselines (CIS, ISO, SOC2).
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
