Job Description:

Cloud Engineer with a strong foundation in web development logic, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, scalable infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
  • Collaborate with web development teams to align infrastructure with application architecture and deployment needs.
  • Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
  • Monitor system health, ensure uptime, configure alerts, and implement disaster recovery strategies.
  • Enforce cloud security best practices including IAM, VPC design, encryption, and compliance policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. 
  • Maintain documentation on architecture, pipelines, and operational procedures.
  • Continuously research and adopt new cloud, DevOps, and web technologies to improve performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2–5+ years
  • Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP (Associate or Professional level).
  • Strong understanding of web application logic, REST APIs, and modern web frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, container platforms, and scripting languages.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with serverless architecture, microservices, or multi-cloud environments.
  • Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
