Company Description:

We are seeking a talented Front-End Engineer with hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience who can craft engaging, high-performance digital experiences. In this role, you will collaborate closely with back-end engineers, UX/UI designers, and content authors to develop and maintain responsive, component-based front-end solutions in AEM. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and comfortable working across the full stack of front-end and back-end integrations as part of scrum teams.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize AEM components and templates using Sightly/HTL scripting.
  • Implement pixel-perfect, responsive user interfaces leveraging HTML, CSS/Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
  • Integrate AEM components with back-end logic using Java and Sling Models.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code following best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Work collaboratively with designers and product teams to implement interactive UI elements and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, delivering solutions that enhance usability and efficiency.
  • Conduct code reviews, contribute to team standards, and help drive continuous improvements to the front-end development process.

 

Key Competencies & Skills
 

  • Proven hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience
  • Strong Java skills for AEM back-end and component logic
  • Solid front-end expertise in HTML5, CSS3 (experience with Bootstrap), and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with AEM editable templates, clientlibs, and component customization
  • Understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility, and cross-browser testing
  • Experience with version control (e.g. Git) and collaborative team workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience working in agile teams with designers and content authors
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools and preprocessors
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
  • Exposure to other web technologies (e.g. REST APIs, JSON, AJAX) is a plus.
