Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in testing web, mobile, and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent SQL skills, proven experience in end-to-end QA processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with automation tools and frameworks is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API applications
- Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing across platforms
- Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing
- Conduct API testing including request/response validation, error handling, and security checks
- Validate UI/UX functionality for web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders
- Contribute to automation strategy and frameworks (where applicable)
- Ensure QA best practices, documentation, and quality standards are followed
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Software QA & Testing
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- API testing
- Web application testing
- Mobile application testing
- Strong SQL querying and data validation skills
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Proven ability to analyze requirements and design test strategies
- Strong defect management & root-cause analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with test automation tools/frameworks(e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, RestAssured, Postman automation, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of performance or security testing concepts
- Exposure to cloud-based environments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Hybrid work model, employees are required to work from the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- Working Hours: India shift ends at either 11:30 PM IST / 2:00 AM EST or 12:30 AM IST / 3:00 AM EST.
- Work Location: Hyderabad / Chennai / Pune
