Job Description:
We are looking for a bilingual Senior Compensation Specialist (Spanish Speaking) based in Colombia to support compensation administration and employee communication for Spanish-speaking employees in the United States. This role ensures accurate execution of compensation processes, delivers culturally aligned support in Spanish, and strengthens employee experience and compliance for LATAM-linked populations.
This is a work-from-office role and requires strong attention to detail, compensation knowledge, and exceptional bilingual communication skills.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking employees regarding compensation inquiries and guidance.
- Administer compensation transactions in Workday, including promotions, transfers, salary updates, and new hire offers.
- Translate compensation communications, templates, and role descriptions into Spanish with accuracy and contextual clarity.
- Support market intelligence activities, including gathering LATAM pay data and contributing to preliminary benchmarking analysis.
- Partner with the US Compensation COE to ensure seamless communication and execution of compensation decisions.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Provide employee support in Spanish during annual compensation cycles (merit, bonus, adjustments) as required.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in HR, Compensation, Finance, or Total Rewards, with exposure to international or Spanish-speaking employee groups.
- Native or near-native Spanish fluency, with strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands-on expertise with Workday Compensation or similar HRIS systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Experience handling compensation transactions, pay structures, or analytics is an advantage.
