Job Title
Senior SAP FICO Consultant – S/4HANA Public Cloud
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Senior Consultant with strong expertise in S/4HANA Public Cloud to lead Finance transformation initiatives. The role involves driving end-to-end solution design, configuration, and deployment of Finance processes aligned with SAP Best Practices and Clean Core principles.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Implementation
Lead design and configuration of Finance modules (FI & CO) in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
Implement SAP Best Practice business content and ensure fit-to-standard approach
Configure:
General Ledger (Universal Journal)
Accounts Payable / Receivable
Asset Accounting
Cost Center Accounting
Profit Center Accounting
Internal Orders
Product Costing (if applicable)
2. Public Cloud-Specific Activities
Work with Central Business Configuration (CBC) for scoping and initial setup
Drive configuration activities via SSCUI (Self-Service Configuration UI)
Ensure adherence to Clean Core and in-app extensibility (Key User tools)
Manage 2SL / 3SL landscape (Starter, Dev, Test, Prod)
3. Integration & Cross-Functional Alignment
Collaborate with:
MM (Procure-to-Pay)
SD (Order-to-Cash)
PS / Professional Services
Ensure integration with:
SAP Ariba
SAP Concur
SAP SuccessFactors
Support APIs, IDocs, and event-based integrations
4. Data Migration & Testing
Lead data migration using Migration Cockpit
Define and execute:
Unit Testing
Integration Testing (SIT)
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Ensure data consistency across Finance objects
5. Business Process Enablement
Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops
Translate business requirements into SAP-compliant solutions
Drive adoption of standard processes over customization
6. Cutover & Deployment
Plan and execute cutover activities
Support Go-Live and Hypercare
Ensure financial data reconciliation and validation
7. Stakeholder Management
Engage with Finance leadership (CFO organization)
Provide solution walkthroughs and demos
Coordinate with System Integrators and SAP
8. Continuous Improvement
Identify automation opportunities (e.g., bank reconciliation, allocations)
Leverage tools like:
Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC)
Group Reporting
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have 8–12+ years in SAP FICO with at least 2–3 S/4HANA implementations
Minimum 1–2 end-to-end S/4HANA Public Cloud projects
Strong knowledge of:
Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
Parallel Accounting
Revenue Recognition (RAR preferred)
Experience with CBC, SSCUI, and Fiori Apps
Qualifications:
Any Graduation/Post Graduation
