Job Description:

We are seeking a technically skilled and delivery-focused AI Manager (L5) to lead the development and implementation of AI solutions under the guidance of the AI Architect. This role will manage cross-functional teams of AI developers, data scientists, and MLOps engineers to build scalable, production-grade AI systems including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Transformer-based models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day execution of AI projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment to architectural design.
  • Lead AI developers and collaborate closely with data scientists, BAs, and MLOps engineers to build end-to-end AI workflows.
  • Translate architectural blueprints into executable components, prototypes, and production-ready services.
  • Oversee the development of GenAI applications, RAG pipelines, and agent-based solutions using frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
  • Supervise integration of AI services with business systems and ensure model outputs are usable, interpretable, and reliable.
  • Track project KPIs, technical progress, and resource allocation; escalate risks and blockers as needed.
  • Review code, support reusable component development, and enforce engineering best practices.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers and analysts within the AI team.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or software development, with 2–3 years in team leadership roles.
  • Experience delivering projects using GenAI, LLMs, or Transformer models (e.g., GPT, BERT, LLaMA).
  • Solid understanding of prompt engineering, APIs, data preprocessing, and model integration.
  • Hands-on coding proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML libraries (PyTorch,HuggingFace, LangChain, etc.).
  • Exposure to vector databases and RAG architectures for enterprise knowledge retrieval.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI, or related technical field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in agile delivery environments with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps tools.
  • Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration platforms, LLMOps, or auto-evaluation frameworks.
  • Prior experience in AI delivery within telecom, BFSI, healthcare, or manufacturing domains.
  • Ability to interface with business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate outcomes.
